The Asian Development Bank Institute?Stanford Leadership Academy for Development Capacity Building Programs on Public Policy for Infrastructure equipped participants with knowledge in policy design, monitoring, and implementation, as well as various project lenses, such as stakeholder management, project evaluation, planning, and public consultation.
They also enhanced participants’ understanding of critical infrastructure development challenges through causal maps, problem-solving, stakeholder mapping, and learning about political dynamics and their impacts on projects.
Utilization of the case method exposed participants to real scenarios, with most of the studies connected to public policy problem-solving frameworks that are useful and practical.
Recommendations include maintaining group projects with pre-assignments and clearly defined objectives for final assignments.
