The Ministry of Economy and Finance (MOEF) held the 228th Ministerial Meeting on International Economic Affairs from April 11 to 15, and approved the plan to join the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) that was previously discussed at the Ministerial Meeting on International Economic Security on April 8.
The government prepared the plan to join the partnership by reflecting different opinions across industries and analyzing its economic impact on the society, and plans on reporting to the National Assembly before the application.
