Government to boost industry ties with Sweden

Korea and Sweden held the inaugural Joint Industrial Cooperation Committee on April 20, where they discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in key industry sectors such as bio and digital.
The committee was set up by their memorandum of understanding (MOU) on industrial cooperation, which was signed during the Korean president’s visit to Sweden in June 2019.
During the meeting, the two countries shared their policies on carbon neutrality and green hydrogen, and discussed ways to cooperate in the green and digital sectors.
