Indo-Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Supply Chain Agreement to take effect in Korea
The Korean government announced that the Indo?Pacific Economic Framework for Prosperity (IPEF) Supply Chain Agreement would come into effect in Korea on April 17.

The Supply Chain Agreement has already taken effect as of this year on February 24 in the U.S., Japan, Singapore, Fiji, and India. Korea will be the sixth country to ratify the IFEF agreement.

As the first multilateral international agreement on supply chains, the IPEF Supply Chain Agreement is  anticipated to contribute to establishing a more stable intraregional supply chain. The 14 partner countries will cooperate to increase investment, enhance logistics, and support joint R&D projects to  promote a more resilient supply chain. In the event of a  crisis, the partner countries will be working together in  running a “Crisis Response Network” to implement joint response measures.
