This publication demonstrates how elements of ADB projects in the People’s Republic of China are being replicated successfully across Asia and the Pacific. It presents five case studies focusing on nature-based infrastructure for urban resilience, waste-to-energy solutions, elder care, air quality improvement, and river basin management. Lessons from these initiatives are being applied and finding emerging practical uses in other ADB developing member countries. They show how the transfer of knowledge, innovation, and lessons learned can help address climate, urbanization, and demographic challenges.
