Digital mental health interventions are increasingly recognized as tools for strengthening primary health care (PHC) systems and expanding access to mental health services in Asia and the Pacific. This report examines the role of digital technologies across the mental health care continuum, including community engagement, early detection, treatment, referral, and long-term follow-up. It reviews evidence on digital interventions for common mental disorders, severe mental disorders, neurological conditions, self-harm and suicide prevention, substance use, and child and adolescent mental health conditions. It also highlights implementation considerations, including governance, workforce capacity, equity, financing, data protection, and integration within PHC systems.
