The UK government is funding Youth Guarantee Trailblazer (YGT) programmes to run in eight areas of the country to improve support into employment, education or training (EET) for young people aged 18-21. The East Midlands is one such area, comprised of Derby, Derbyshire, Nottingham and Nottinghamshire and overseen by the newly established East Midlands Combined County Authority (EMCCA). Part of the government funding is ringfenced for evaluation.
